Kids!! lol
My youngest strll lives at home with me. The 3 elder ones all live 120/130 miles away and within 15 mins of each other. Today i am driving up to see them and yet again the eldest son has an excuse not to see me. He has done this for the last 8/9times I have driven up. I have changed the day to accomodate him and work, I have pre-warned him so it isnt a last min thing but still the day before he comes up with an excuse and I am quite upset, even if that sounds silly. My lovely hubbie says its just a boy thing but he seems to be able to get hold of me when he needs something ie help towards deposit on his house, car insurance etc. Is it just a boy thing??
Btw - eldest girl is 23, this son in question is 21, next son is 18 and one at home is 12.
Rant over lol

I'd just let him know when your visiting the others and say if your not busy it would be great to see you, but if not thats fine. I think it sometimes takes them to become parents themselves before they grow up and want to spend time with family. There is always one in the family that wants to go it alone, he knows you are there when he needs you. Just accept it and enjoy being a granny, its great. Your now a glamorous gran.
Hi guys, thanks for all the comments.

So was slighlty miffed but had a good day with the others. Def havent fallen out with son, his brother and sister say he is the same with them at the mo so god knows.....
