To write
to write about Dotty's life
is to take a road that leads nowhere
and yet parallels the totality her existence
To write about Dotty's life
is to evoke a silhouette
that of the writer rushing through her serious past
One cannot tell where she is going
as she detours, diverges, deviates
but that is why we ABers want to follow her
Along the way like a lost traveller
she picks up newbie pebbles from the ground
and stuffs them in her pockets
As she gropes backward she loses herself
but we are willing to be disoriented with her
willing to be lulled by her AB thread contributions
Stranded in AB time with her
we lose ourselves in e-space with her
and yet everything holds in place underneath
as if pulled by a serious ED magnet
All that was absent
forgotten from her life
is now suddenly present again
Now that's serious.
