Any decent Asian supermarket will have it as well as Chinese supermarkets. You can get it in jars or tubs - sometimes as a 'fresh' item as well.

If you aren't near a shop, try http://www.thai4uk.com for other Thai ingredients as well as the sugar

They sell this in the "ethnic" aisle in my local tescos
