Why is vjksdiusdf allowed to ruin this site with spam replies time and time again, surely a ban would be appropriate.

He's not...

"surely a ban would be appropriate."

It was.

Was this question worth posting? :)
pardon. please speak in english.
They get banned every time they appear - they are hardly ruining the site!
who ?....have not seen this one ..
I do understand that it annoys people however - just hit the report button an be done with it :)
He/she reappears every night, moonraker but with a slightly different name each time. He is banned as soon as he is reported and someone who has the authority to ban/suspend can do so. The posts usually appear in the early hours and are usually gone well before breakfast.
They seem to got o great trouble to make 20 simultaneous posts but I can't see why they bother
"They seem to got o great trouble to make 20 simultaneous posts but I can't see why they bother"

Me neither.
To be fair to the op, it is more than annoying to see all the latest posts taken over by a spammer when perusing the site in the wee small hours. There are not many Abers around to refill the slots and it does get quite boring to have to search for (otherwise) current threads.
But if you report them as soon as they appear, ttfn, doesn't nightime Ed despatch them?
You must be joking, boxy!

Thuddddddddd ;)
Ena, you just fell on nighttime Ed :-)
One idea may be to stop people joining the site between say 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. I know some would simply set an account earlier though and then send the spam at 2am
Alternatively restrict new posters to perhaps 3 posts in the first 24 hours.
That would avoid some of the US homework posters too, factor
they actually used to have a spambot-nabber, as I recall: post too many posts and you were instantly suspended. It caught a few honest citizens who were chatting too hard as well, but otherwise worked ok.
He was back again last night as uiskds but this time only managed 19 posts rather than 21 the night before as vjksdiusdf.

I wonder if these banned users have to create a new email address each time they set up again and whether they get a Welcome to Answerbank email each time
