For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.KebabMeister's answer suprises me as I have got a City and Guilds in electronics Level 1 and 2 and it wasn't even close to my NC in terms of difficulty let alone my HNC which were both in electronics. I appreciate The City and Guilds he has is Level 3 but I would'nt have thought their would have been such a big jump from Level 2 to 3.
Jay70, I have City & Guilds '383' Level 1, 2 & 3 in 'Repair & Servicing of Road Vehicles' and Level 1 & 2 are pretty much worthless without Level 3 (I think Level 3 links all previous levels up and is the minimum required by some trades). I think Level 1 is equivalent to a GCSE and maybe Level 2 either equivalent to 2 GCSEs or one A Level. Best thing though is to check with C&G themselves who'll confirm which each is equivalent to.
