I switched my Electricity tariff from standard to variable on-line and was told I'd receive Email conformation once it had been set up.
This was over a week ago, does it usually take this long (or longer)?
Maybe I should give them a call?

i done the same thing with npower and from what i recall i had to wait 2or3 weeks for confirmation. i was begining to think they hadn't had my online application.
