Ants appeared in my house several weeks ago

and i think it may be because i got this white lilly plant, and that has attracted them, do you think it is??? they have now spread to my living room, it will be impossible to find the nest and pest control are charging £35, i cannot afford to pay that, so what can i do to get rid once and for all?.......thanks

suzie rather than buying a spray, why don't you get some cheap talcum powder and put it all around the edges of the room, any holes where the radiators are, even window sills. They hate talc but like I've said before, at least they will smell nice with they die .. Good luck.

First of all you should try to keep your house as neat and clean as possible. Do not left the uncleaned dishes because it attract insects. You can use the soapy water. It is very effective to kill the ants. It also help to prevent the further infestation. You can also use the chalk lines as the defensive barriers.
