What happened with the case of the man who murdered that old man in the street with an axe about 9 months ago? Building workers nearby had to restrain him with scaffolding poles, remember?

What was it all about? Have I missed the court case?

I'd completely forgotten about this.

What I remember from the time was that the axeman was completely calm and just said something like "he's had this coming for a long time".

Anyone know what the guy was talking about, or was he just some nutter?

Hi, the man who killed him was detained indefinately in Broadmoor as he was a paranoid scitzophrenic who was under the illusion his victim was trying to kill him. Very sad all round.
