Following the pins and needles in left hand, was at my GP to discuss blood test results and mentioned it. My lovely doctor took it seriously, said because it was the ring and little finger and pad i.e. left side of hand could be ulna and needs investigating if it doesn't ease. Any ideas?

Psybbo...... .cor blimey.... just had a shower, summer dressing gown on, poured myself a whiskey, "old lady gone to her room........ .......and you turn up ;-) Yes, if your Dr is correct and the ulnar nerve is the culprit, then the commonest place for "trouble" is at the elbow....... ..it could be trapped and needs releasing. I look forward to some feedback.
