So Ed shot Emily's husband Ernest in 1978. I may be barking up a wrong tree here, but let me ask you one simple question. If someone had murdered your nearest and dearest, you had attended the subsequent court case, and been subjected to those responsible staring back at you on the front pages of the Weatherfield Gazette for days / weeks on end....would you ever forget their faces, even if it was 28 years later. ( forget the fact that it is a different actor playing the part.)

perhaps he had a curl on his forehead and wore glasses in the old days...?

Glad you noticed this as I was thinking this as well as what I wrote a few threads back and I still say they should have made him look older
People can change a lot in 28 years and Emily is getting old. I still think he is creepy though.

they have tried to grey his hair a bit, but it just doesn't look right - looks like hes got flour on his head!


accentuating a few wrinkles would have been simple, guess the corrie makeup artist cannot do sfx makeup
