Can't Find My Calculator ----- Need Help

I didn't quite know where to put this but I need to find 2% of £,8236.00, can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Divide by 100 to find 1%.. That's £82.36.
Double it to get 2%. That's £164.72

You dont need a calculator. Divide by 100 for 1 percent. Just move decimal point back 2 places - 86.36 and then x 2. 164.72

... unless your comma after the £ sign means you have omitted some digits, but i guess you are working out interest on a savings account so the figures look reasonable
