I bought this new USB stick and copied few songs on it to play in the car. It did not work in the car but that is not the problem. problem is that now I can't see it even if I plug it in a computer as I wanted to format it. Computer does make a bleep when I attach it but I can't see it under "my computer". What can I do to be able to re-use it?

When that sort of thing happens to me I tend to find the stick is a write off. If it isn't recognised it is probably broken. If new take it back under warranty.
