Phantom In The Kitchen
My gsd is a gymnast in the kitchen Twice now she eaten some blue cheese as I was making something in the kitchen. What is the bottom line as far as making her sick? The first time it didnt seem to bother her at all. This second time so far doesnt appear to bother her. It happens when I step away. Entirely my fault . I have to try to do better or have better discipline. Any information would be helpful. It is usually only a part of a container about 2-3 tablespoons.

Cheese isn't poisonous to dogs, though some dogs , a few, are lactose intolerant and react. It won't hurt her. Why did you think it would?
Don't interfere. My eight dogs all eat cheese from time to time; they don't care whether it's blue or not, and they've never had any ill effects. They see it as a treat, but will certainly steal and eat a whole packet when they get the chance. Most of them are 11 or 12 years, and all are healthy

Noborn, years ago my vet answered my query about eating something definitely 'off' with "But it's a dog! They have far stronger digestions than we have. They won't eat natural stuff that will hurt them; they have evolved to eat stuff, that we wouldn't or couldn't"
An observation confirmed by some of mine gleefully pulling the rotting corpse of a rat out of the river and taking some of it!
The blue in blue cheese is nothing to them, nor generally to us. It is the non-natural stuff like dark chocolate which is dangerous to them.
