My wife just bought me the above and I haven't got a clue what to do with it! Help!!!
Does it HAVE to have connection to the web?

It will work perfectly well as a stand-alone device, Pappy. The trouble is, it will only have the content on it that it came with.

It's usual to have web connectivity to download music; films; books etc....... and the various APPS that you might want (small self-contained applications to perform a certain function.)

In Sainsburys just before Xmas I saw a book (in the newspaper / magazine section) called "The Nexus Book"

It was £9.99 and tells you everything you need to know to set up and use your tablet.
