In my local supermarket it is cheaper to buy Tbags in the small boxes as the box containing twice as many costs more than twice as much. It is a standard supermarket trick as people assume that the bigger boxe/ tins etc. are better value and they often aren't.

LOL...
That explains the long queue I just encountered in my local Co-Op!
Might explain why our local Co-op is closing on 18th Jan.

Wouldn't mind, but I walked past it twice, noticed it and it didn't register. When It did, I toyed with the idea of leaving it there on the shelf, for the giggles like, but then I figured out that customers would (possibly/maybe) notice, and point it out to me, thus necessitating a conversation- i try to avoid those with 'em at all costs.
i'll buy one and rejoin the queue with the other
Lol, I've seen similar in Tesco.
I have to double check everything in my local Co-Op.

I saw this in our co op this morning ! Wonder if anyone falls for it !
Nice one, B00. Our local Co-op is also selling hot cross buns - only 15 weeks to Easter so stock up now!
Maybe it's a test.....see who notices ;-)
My local co-op is stuffed to the rafters with cream eggs in all their variations.
the co-op I go to with a pal when I stay with her in rural Suffolk area has cheaper stuff and a lot more bargains than I ever see in my local co-op in Greater London.
