No Ladybirder, I'm not afraid she will do it again. It was a one off. We went on a charity dog walk on Sunday and there were at least 40 dogs there. There were no problems at all. Just dogs running everywhere, chasing each other. It was lovely, except it was piddling down.

Thanks, Yont. I think she's just a bit stressed out.

could she have been in pain? older dogs often get more worried about other dogs being close if they have a pain somewhere...maybe she overdid it on sunday?
Hi Tilly a few years ago a similar thing happened with one of our dogs. He was really upset and subdued after. We kept him quiet with lots of cuddles in, he was right as rain in the morning . xx

I imagine she got quite upset because the other little dog yelped so much. I'm sure she'll be fine in the morning.
She's seven now but I still think of her as a young dog. Compared to my twelve year old GSD, she is.

Why do we do it?
Because we love them x

..........and they love us.
I hope you're OK Tilly, it's very upsetting. I've recently taken on another rescue dog and he's a nightmare with other dogs, doesn't draw blood but leaps at them snapping then picks his ball up and walks away. I have an animal behaviourist coming this week to sort him out, hopefully.
Sorry, Tilly, I was confusing her with the 12 year old. She'll be fine in the morning, is OH upset, I take it he was walking them?
Question Author
Yes, sibs, it was Mr Tilly who was with them. The other young man was very magnanimous with his apologies though. They did end up swearing at each other!
