I loved the Manneken Pis when I went to Belgium. Was there for a big festival and he was "peeing" beer that day - tasted lovely. There is also a museum with hundreds of his costumes in it. Well worth a visit especially as there is a chocolate factory in the same square!

Oh, we'll, actually, I suppose that's not so unusual. Until about a year ago, we had a pub here called the PV (the Princess Victoria). It's now moved, and sort of merged with another pub. Anyway, that's by the by.

The PV was our usual Friday night starting point. It was (how can I put this?), a lesbian bar. Anyway, in the PV they had a big statue, like one of those figurehead kind of things?

And she used to dispense vodka from her nipples.

We always said ... you know you're in safe hands when you start the evening drinking vodka from a giant pair of nipples.

Thanks for the link PP. I am currently reading Inferno by Dan Brown and part of it is set in the Boboli Gardens, Florence. Great to see many of the statues mentioned in the book as well as the pleached walkway. Thanks again.
