Yes. A lot of UKIP members seem, at least to me, to be worrying. The point I have been trying to make that they seem to be doing well in the polls and, in my view, I thought last night's election broadcast to be cleverly conceived, agree or not with the sentiments delivered. It's about effective, productive political campaigning and UKIP seem to be doing rather better than others.
---------------------------
Can't argue with that assessment. The mood of the electorate that won't be voting UKIP is one where they're too quick to dismiss them out of hand as also rans. The general mood I hear amongst relatives, friends and colleagues would suggest an undercurrent is brewing, whereby they've had enough of the norm, the lies, deceit and "we are all in this together" bullsh!t whilst watching bankers get their bonuses for failure and MP's having above inflation pay rise recommendations as the electorate have their pensions eroded.
Yes, UKIP have the odd nutter in their midst. Farage and his party appear to deal with and oust them swiftly, yet when a government minister attempts to block and deflect enquiries into her mortgage affairs she provides a 32 second apology and the PM backs her to the hilt!
The relatives, friends and colleagues I spoke of earlier have all expressed to one degree or another some of the sentiments of UKIP and some will be voting as such, which they've never done before.
People have had enough and I just laugh when I hear the ostrich attitude of some on here who brand UKIP as a 'minor political party'. They've been given a platform on the back of that clown Clegg and are now a force to be reckoned with. Many people need to wake up and smell what they're shovelling, UKIP won't go away whilst you have your head in the sand.
