I always thought that insurance companies to be bigger thieves than the criminals.
But lately the vets were up there with em.
Been having to arrange a funeral,might change my mind.:(

I am sorry you have been in that position and yes, the counts do mount up don't they.
Got Barclays home insurance renewal..... £385, rang them to cancel..... all of a sudden they can reduce by £100, best not type my opinion.
I agree it cost a fortune to treat my cat. Finding reasonable holiday insurance for MrAsk at 75 is costing more than a holiday. I spend a lot of time shopping around for insurances - car, house etc. They get dearer every year.
vets I think are good value
I mean it is £12 for a consult which is dirt cheap
then the droogz which are of course....
I do apologise, my answer looks odd now - thought it was about the cost of funerals. Misread, sorry.
When my cat had to be out to sleep the vet phoned and casually asked if I wanted to keep his ashes. When we got the bill his ashes cost £95. I would have got them anyway but we really should have been informed. What if we didn't have a spare £95 on top of the £600 his treatment had already cost.
