Adverse reaction on medication

I believe there are some medications which should not be taken in conjunction with either grapefruit or fresh pineapple (not sure which) because of the adverse reaction from fruit enzymes. Can anybody enlighten me please?

I have never bothered to check this, because I don't eat many grapefruit , but I shall do a bit of research now out of interest.
Hi Wendy - it's grapefruit (& some oranges) that's the problem. Apparently it alters the way the body breaks down the medication & can result in too much of the drug being in the bloodstream.
