Are you sure its PAYG and not a monthly contract?

Did you pay separately for the phone?

Assuming the phone isn't locked to Voda and that you haven't got a contract with them, Tesco do a rather better deal :

250 minutes
5000 texts
500MB data
1 month contract

Monthly cost - £10

Tesco uses the O2 network - the only way of knowing whether the signal is good in your area is to ask other people - the phone company maps are 'optimistic' to say the least.

Yes defo a PAYG....I bought the phone from the Vodofone shop. so it would be locked to them I would think? Think I will go and have a look at 02 on the Tesco plan. Many thanks
