I found this fascinating. I wonder if practitioners would have given the correct diagnosis when presented with the collective artwork!

^ ha, no! :-D
But that fact that somebody communicates how they are feeling through art doesn't mean that anyone else can interpret what the artist is saying. To me the green fuzzy one where she says she felt angry and trapped, looks like nature on a winter's day, soft and silent. Of course we can't know know because we can't "unread" the article, but I wonder what we would have thought of the images if they had been presented with no background story?

Woofgang, exactly. That's why it would have made a good experiment to ask a random sample of people what they think the pictures mean.
