Rosemary Plant
Somehow during the night something, not the wind, has broken off a large, (over a foot high) healthy, woody stem of my rosemary plant. I have rescued it and trimmed off the break and put it in water. Just wondering is it likely to root, should I stick it back in the soil or just clip the stems off and dry them.
Any ideas?

Puss is now Prime Suspect and will be reprimanded, (as if this would make any difference to her behaviour) when she condescends to come back in the house after her latest killing spree.
Perhaps she likes tochew a sprig of rosemary to complement the taste of the unfortunate voles that she slaughters every day.
