I'd certainly like to know their names, dead or alive. It was in the 70s and 80s and I'm sure many of them will now be dead.

Yes agree they must be caught and prosecuted, but let's hope that those who point the finger are in fact genuine victims, and not as in this case when this Headmaster must have gone through a year of hell, and to be arrested at his desk, well what can one say?

i've heard the the inquiry team have been suitably coached by Sepp Blatter and Hans-Joachim Eckert so we can expect a truly thorough examination.

I agree AOG...no one likes to see a miscarriage of justice.

But I wonder if any of the men who this boys says tortured and abused him are on a long-lost dossier somewhere ? Perhaps MI5 and Special Branch could assist the police in their enquires over these new allegations ?

Thanks jno...I did see that about Denning. He famously said, when he was chucked out of the Check Republic, that he couldn't see anything wrong and "why shouldn't he have sex with young boys"

Well, its likely he will be having some sex in the future, but I doubt it will be with anybody under 18.

I have just watched the BBC link on Denning. I had forgotten just what an odious man he was and still is. His boasting to camera can hardly bear to be be watched. I suspect that he will have to serve his sentence on Rule 42, or whatever its called nowadays. At his age he is likely to die in Prison, so at least he will never be able to abuse young boys anymore.

A truly horrible creature.
