I have just seen an ad on chatterbank for some hotel offering a $5 package, pay $5 more for breakfast and wife, reread it and saw wifi. Does anyone else misread ads or is it just me ?

Is it $5 for your wife, or just any wife?
Not usually. I've been married, I'd certainly not want to have to pay for another - they'd have to pay me a very large sum of money. If it said Breakfast and a one night stand with the maid called Chantelle then maybe I'd be interested but I don't know how you'd misread that.
I was shocked today to see advertised 'Shoplifters wanted'. When I reread it, it actually said 'Shopfitters wanted'. Yep, I misread all the time!
It reminds me of Chilldoubt's joke, answer 6 in this thread.

A man received the following text from his neighbour.

I'm so sorry Bob..... I've been riddled with guilt and I have to confess. I have been helping myself to your wife, day and night when your not around. In fact probably more than you. I do not get it at home, but thats no excuse.
I can no longer live with guilt, and I hope that you accept my sincerest apology with the promise that it won't ever happen again.
Bob was outraged and betrayed, went into bedroom, grabbed his gun,and without a word, shot his wife. A few minutes later, a second text came in: Bloody autospell ! it should read ''wifi, not ''wife''.
