Youngest Junior Overall (14) does cookery at school on Fridays. He lost the recipe sheet for this weeks class and all week I have been nagging him to get another one.
As he was leaving for school this morning I made the point that today is my shopping day and I am supposed to be buying ingredients for a recipe he can't remember.
I could see the cogs whirring as he had a think. His face lit up and he said "I have remembered.....it is a chicken dish."
That really narrows it down!

Lol it's a start though MrsO. Maybe he won't lose his recipes after this at least I hope he won't.
" it is a chicken dish"

In that case it is almost certainly pineapple upside down cake!
They might be making omlettes ☺
Happy days Mrs O, I often meet harassed mothers dragging their kids around the supermarket as soon as it opens at 8am ranting at them as in, 'You've had ALL week to tell me!' etc etc.
Lol...

My son done food tech for a while. The list of ingredients was ridiculous.
We never got a list of things we had to get. All we had to do was pay an amount at the start of term and bring a tub, until the last term we had to specify what we wanted them to buy. I wasn't too popular when I said I needed Saffron
I hated cookery lessons.....with the flaming nun...

We once had to make, ice and decorate a sponge....my best friend was lovely but had no artistic talent....her cake was ghastly....but being a nice friend I praised it until we had to line up with them for the nun's verdict...

"I don't know what to say about that monstrosity, Theresa....but I'll let Gness tell you all that's wrong with it.....speak Gness!!!

My refusal to criticise resulted in me having to clean the walls of the little flatlet with a brillo pad....????
