I did once suggest we use the $ symbol to indicate sarcasm, perhaps we could use $tic ( Sarcastic/Tongue In Cheek). :o)

Being serious, for a moment, if one has to point out one is being sarcastic or teasing, then it loses all point. It's supposed to create that sudden realisation feeling after momentarily taking it seriously.

It's a bit like telling all who post in the joke forum that they should analyse the joke for the reader first, before actually telling it.

Perhaps one needs a 'calm down, calm down' button instead ?
