when shopping the other day I noticed (because I had some extras) that the large box for food bank collection had disappeared. does this mean they are no longer needed. i find this difficult to believe.

has anyone else noticed this?

the person I spoke to in the supermarket knew nothing about it.

this was sainburys, helston. they still had a collection for pets.
Perhaps it was relocated to maximise coverage of the area

not that big a shop gail. no 'lazy' corners.
I meant to another shop or supermarket

oh I see. I will have to investigate co-op and Tesco (if I can bear to conquer the maze that is their car park). I thought they all had their individual collections.
Probably a bigger space is needed to keep up with demand.
My local shop used to have one, but no longer do. I suspect it is due to lack of space.
