Ok it's better than the other botched methods they use but why can't the septics just own up and admit they are totally inept at execution and get some experts in?

What's the problem!!
I don't agree with capitol punishment I hasten to add!

Yes ratter but they have had problems with those drugs, at best not working at all and at worse inflicting a slow painful death. Leaving aside the standard capital punishment debate, if a state has the death penalty then they surely must have an efficient method. The Rope+drop as others have said above is the best way any state has found full stop.
ah the problems with lethal GAs are .. legion Ratter
Humourless lawyers have been reporting the hapless but helpful doctors doing it to their licensing boards ( stateside GMC sort of - full of more humourless doctors who strike them off )
More humourless lawyers brought a case in the der daah European court.

The case adequately accounts for companies suddenly deciding not to sell thio to America
so medical techs put up the drips - usually somewhere else than a vein - and they arent paid to do that I can tell you ! - in prisoners who may have no veins as they have been drug users
and the three drug cocktail - midaz / pav / potassium isnt something I would want used on me...
other than that..... yeah the system works quite well.

Peter Pedant - //There is a case of the head being pulled off
when they got the weight wrong isnt there ? //
There were numerous cases where the length of the rope was miscalculated and either the victim slowly strangled if the rope was too short, or was decapitated if it was too long.
From that grew the 'table' or lengths calculated on the height and weight of the victim.
It was said that by the end of his career Albert Pierrpoint could calculate the rope length by a glance through the spyhole of the condemned cell, and a quick sight of the prisoner.
Pierrpoint also perfected the use of a bolt through which the rope passed, which, when placed correctly under the jaw would cause the vertebrae to snap instantaneously causing instant death.

Talbot - //Is there a 'non' cruel method of execution?.
Swiss clinic? //
Are you talking about voluntary euthanasia?
That's hardly relevent to the discussion is it?
Perfectly reasonable, if Swiss clinics can put people to sleep without too much fuss why can't this method be used on criminals?
