Keswick Lake District

We are going on a walking holiday to Keswick from Fri 1st May until Mon 4th. Do any of you live in this area? If so, what is the weather like now and what is the forecast for the weekend? Also is there snow on Scafell Pike at the moment? I would appreciate any help. Thank you so much.

I can see snow on the tops from my window now. Weather is cold bright and sunny. Bring cold weather gear and an ice axe for Scafell, especially if you are going up The Lord's Rake

Thanks thugulike. Went up Scafell on Saturday. Got about half a mile from the top but conditions became too dangerous as it was snowing heavily and there was poor visibility. Did a lovely walk around Derwent Water and also Latrigg Hill.
