Who sang "If you go to San Fransisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair". I say it was Scott McKensie, but my husband says it was not. Can anyone settle the "argument" please???

not that Boo or I remember either, nor bought the 45, nor watched it on TOTP.

Thanks Boo. Should have had a "bet " on it. Brings back memories of flowers, beads& bells, & barefeet. Lol
it was not by the flowerpot men it was sung by Scott Mckenzie
that's what i said Norm, it was defro Scott Mckenzie and the other one was by the Flowerpot men, ;'Let's go to San fransisco' , have you misread my post again/ lol

Remember Eric Burden and the Animals had a hit with San Fransiscan Nights.
