I have finished this but before submitting I would like to know if anyone has heard of the word FORESEER? Chambers does not have it. I have only ever heard of SEER - the clue states "one who accurately predicts the future ?O?E?E?R and Foreseer is all I can fit in. Clarification please!
Foreseer | Define Foreseer at Dictionary.com dictionary.reference.com/browse/foreseer Foreseer definition, to have prescience of; to know in advance; foreknow.
I have taken your word for it! I am somewhat set in my ways and am inclined to the view that if it's not in Chambers then it either does not exist or is part of modern English which I am inclined to be suspicious of as they keep changing the means - such as wicked, cool, cheers etc
Oops - have just checked my Collins - it agrees with you both! don't usually consult it as it is very big and double the weight of Chambers - will wrestle with it in the future!
