On my laptop... I have just put it back to factory settings but have an error that has come up... Kernel? .

I will post further information in a short while. I took it back to factory settings because was having trouble to reinstall my Avg protection... And also had other problems and my laptop is old now and really think I need to get a new one z

Dont write your old one off just yet - its amazing what a clean up and installing the right programs can do for an older machine.
make and model number will help.

Hi many thanks for your replies. I have had my daughter in hospital with a collapsed lung. Anyway have decided I had had enough of the old laptop and bought a new one. zz
