Does anybody know what is meant these days when referring to the real world anyway?

Svejk, agreed but as I pointed out earlier she stated it was a 'big factor' and not necessarily the cause.

It carries more weight than a lack of zinc don't you think? ;)

There have been a great many scientific studies that have produced results that the funders want. This one which ignores all the political machinations leading up to the covil war, and instead blames the weather, looks highly dubious.

The Marmite suggestion was of course tongue in cheek. To illustrate that daft scientific causes have been trotted out before.

The report leaves plenty of room for debate:
