I probably wouldn't trust them but I would love for my car to take itself for a service so I don't have to deal with it.

The real question, of course, is would you trust a driverless car MORE than one with a driver in it.

I wonder if a Driverless car would be programed to take evasive action? an example, In high winds, a van / HGV getting blown over & heading in your direction? a tree falling, Debris on the road at night? a car coming from the opposite direction & that driver is either Drunk / losses control / Heart attack? I have over the years been in a situation that have happened & have had to take instant action, It would be interesting to know.
