Aerosols on a plane?

Really dumb question but with the new law about only being aloud to take 100ml of liquid in your hand luggage, can you put a normal size tins of body spray etc. in the hold luggage or not. Were going to america!

You are NOT surposed to take any aerosols on planes because they are compressed gas & can cause explosions.
No problem with aerosols in the hold luggage.

Yes, you can take aerosols on planes - if they're under 100ml in your hand luggage or over 100ml in the hold. Planes are pressurised so they won't explode.
