Oh wow, choux, that’s amazing!!
He is having a nice ordinary day thank you, sitting in the dining room with Lego spread all over the table. He says it’s worth getting these gigantic technical sets because they will be handed on to our grandsons (1 and 3). I must admit the older of the two does get a lot of pleasure fiddling with them, under grandads supervision, and can be bribed if necessary with the promise of getting his little hands on them.
Anyhow, Happy Christmas to you and mr C, have you pulled your crackers yet?? Hope you both have a totally splendid meal today and enjoy the Kings Speech later ;) xx

Lovely, Vagus. He sounds a happy bunny! Grandsons will have to wait a long time, I hope.

Christmas dinner was great, thanks. Children's portions. I wasn't going to waste the veg, so I have prepped what I didn't cook for a beef stew for later this week, and have popped it into freezer. I sawed through the joint of beef, whilst it was frozen (phew) so we can enjoy the rest at a later date. OH ate all I served and could taste it. Compared my cooking to the hospital's dinner on 25th and I have got a gold medal. Somebody knows which side their bread is buttered ;) No crackers, apart from the 2 of us.

We are now watching An Appointment With Death, Ch 5. Hmmmm... xx
