If you mean privately I can't help but my late sister and quite a few friends and acquaintances had the surgery done at the RVI and all speak very highly of their experiences.

It's not the Companies that need research, but the surgeon.

As barry says get recommendations from your GP or friends.

research but the following maxim tends to apply, 'get the best that you can afford'. My ex had hers done by Jock Holliday in the states, one of the original pioneers of the technique, a b-day pressie from her sister, I hasten to add, not me.

I would ask my GP to recommend a surgeon.

I can just see the questioning....

1. How many people have you left with worse vision than before they came to see you?

2, How many have had scratched eyeballs?

3. How many have had detached retinas?

4. How many have not allowed you to proceed on to their other eye?

5. How many have you blinded?

6. How many have died?
