Many, many years ago - possibly well over 30 years -Mum gave me a tin of the above talc. I keep it in my knitting bag to dust my hands
with when knitting, simply because the perfume was too strong for all over use.
I cannot believe it, but I used it this morning and I swear the perfume is as strong as it ever was.
How on earth is that possible after all these years, I wonder?

I used to wear Pagan perfume back in the '60s.
It came in a very small bottle, but you didn't need much.
I didn't know it came in a talcum powder, I would have bought it myself.
Ferlew, I've just remembered the perfume that I bought was by Picot.
I bought some online quite a few years ago, but it wasn't how I remembered it.
smell is a powerful trigger for memories
( same brayne circuits - hippocampus and all that)
PP. An ex-boyfriend of mine always wore the same aftershave.
Many years after we broke up, I was in a shop when suddenly I could smell that smell and really expected to see him standing there.
I was disappointed in a way that it wasn't him.

Barsel, maybe one took the other over....definitely says Lentheric on the tin.
I remember a tiny square bottle of perfume by Goya, it was Black Rose and about the first one I was ever given, must have been circa 1960. That was another rather strong one.
Lentheric and Picot both did a perfume called Pagan.
Bit strange, but true.
I've just had a couple of minutes wondering what Lethargic Talc is!
Zebo, it's talc that's too tired to come out of its container.
I am glad the recently relaunched old spice doesnt smell like the original it would be like being haunted by my grandad....or one of my short term foibles who wore it all the time.... Fragrances I can't get now Jovan Sex appeal for women they still do the men's one... God that took no prisoners!!! Mariella Burani , lots of the variants, but not the original, and Hermes have changed their classic Caleche, which was my signature almost my whole life.
rowan has got it
parfumiers change their recipes / make up for one name
so eau sauvage may not smell like eau sauvage from 20 y ago

this is intended
