Do Student Loan Debts ever get wiped out???

If you owe student loan co a few thousand pound but never get to point where you are earning over the threshold ot pay it back does there ever come a time when loan is wiped out?? It worries me that...

how about a competitions thread for us serious compers who need to ask qus or get some help!

doesnt seem to be any susbtantial info out there for compers or place to ask questions....would find a competition thread very helpful.
