Mods and rockers/60s fancy dress

Got a party tomorrow.. theme is mods and rockers although one of my friends is going as twiggy so i guess it's kind of 60s too. What to wear? Bear in mind.. if i were to wear a leather jacket it will be taken off as soon as i get there so doesn;t do much, same with shoes. Also, not exactly shopping for an outfit either... hair? makeup? Thanks for any ideas!!

If the weather stays warm, you'll get away with a shift dress in a large print pattern and a pair of stilettos too.

Go to a charity shop and see if you can pick up a geometric patterned dress, white boots etc. There are a lot of long dresses in bright colours now in places like Primark. They were all the rage in the 60s. Maybe you could get a cheap chain belt from Clair`s Accessories. Black eyeliner, white lipstick and false eyelashes and you`re good to go.

Alternatively, balck eyeliner, long hair with flowers in it, and smock dress.
