Hi 'jno'
i tried the wheel on mouse as u said but same result as with ctrl and + key.
Thee lettering increases great with only one click of the mouse wheel but the whole paragraph shifts to the right and i lose part of the text!
The scroll bar at bottom has no adjustment either!
another puzzle!
hmmm.... sorry, I can't explain that. It doesn't happen to me.

The other method is to go to "View" (or something like that) at the top of your screen, and there should be a "zoom" option there. But it will probaby produce the same result.
ino, delalyn is correct - if you use that method then the page/print shifts to the right, is very annoying.
oops - jno

Hi again 'LOOKOUT'
The APL badge i used as my 'avatar' is actually a replica of the original cap badge which ex APL servicemen wear on the lapel of their blazers. The original cap badge was minus the APL letters and a separate Gambia's pinned onto a green baize disc.

Check out 'ABerrrant' comment for APL info. Thank you for that 'ABerrant'

If i could find how to change my 'avatar' i would show it?
I looked in 'profile' but can't see a way to change the avatar...does anybody know how please? seems many have this problem!

Hi 'lookout'
As you see i found how to change my 'avatar' this is the original APL cap badge. i will revert back to the replica later.
I don't get this shift and loss of text at the right side either.
I am using FireFox13 and can expand 3 times and still see all the text. I have checked with Internet Explorer7 and find the same thing.
Which internet browser and which version of it are you using?
I agree with Howard - when I expand the text size it just expands from the middle outwards, it doesn't move to one side. I'm not sure what's happening to mamyalynne and delalyn (now there's a rhyming pair), but I don't think it should be.

Anyway, at least the avatar is sorted out.
Hi delalyn
As has been stated please continue to use upper case if it is more convenient for you. Most of us understand your sight problem us geriatrics must stick together.

Timothy Good - UFO Authority

Worldwide research, interviewing key witnesses and discussing the subject with astronauts, military and intelligence specialists, pilots, politicians and scientists, has established Timothy Good as a leading authority on UFOs and the alien presence - the most highly classified subject on Earth.

He became interested in the subject in 1955, when his passion for aviation and space led him to read a book by Major Donald Keyhoe describing UFO sightings by qualified observers such as military and civilian pilots. In 1961, after reading a book by Captain Edward Ruppelt, a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, he began to conduct his own research. Since then, he has amassed a wealth of evidence, including several thousand declassified intelligence documents.

Timothy Good has lectured at universities, schools, and at many organizations, including the Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences, the Royal Canadian Military Institute, the Royal Geographical Society, the Royal Naval Air Reserve Branch, the House of Lords All-Party UFO Study Group, and the Oxford and Cambridge Union societies. In January 1989, following the dissolution of the Soviet empire, he became the first UFO researcher from the West to be interviewed on Russian television. He was invited for discussions at the Pentagon in 1998, and at the headquarters of the French Air Force in 2002. He has also acted as consultant for several U.S. Congress investigations. He is known to millions through his numerous television appearances and has co-produced several documentaries on the subject.

Timothy Good's first book, Above Top Secret: The Worldwide UFO Cover-up (1987) became an instant bestseller, and is regarded widely as the definitive work on the subject,
