Lost my Avatar when I changed e-mail address.How do I get it back please?

You need to reset one or both of the email addresses on Gravatar and Answerbank so that both are the same

You mentioned this morning that you are having problems uploading an image from your hard drive.
Can't you just continue with the image already loaded on Gravatar? The email addresses on AB and Gravatar need to be the same. You can change add an email address onto Gravatar and you can change your email address on AB on your profile.
That should sort it

I have changed both e-mail addresses but still don't have my Avatar back.My daughter is more au fait with computers so I am hoping she can sort it out

Yes both adresses are the same.I have sent a mesage to Gravatar explaining that when i have selected my avatar from hard drive and clicked on next all that happens is trhat the file name disappears from the box.Still waiting for a reply.

I'm not sure why you needed to change the image on Gravatar. Is your old image not still on there?

Your image always remains on Gravatar. I'm not sure what you mean by 'retrieve it'

Managed to load avatar into my account page but still not showing on AB

if both email addresses are the same, have you checked the rating of your gravatar image?

Have you clicked the activate button on your AB My profile page?
There was time when they only updated on AB on the hour so you may have to wait until 4pm
