I keep having to 'refresh webpage'. Anyone else having similar problems?

All other sites I've been into today are fine.

ed why do you insist on removing my suggestions for using adblocker when it has been recommended on here time and time again by the excellent techno people and some mods even? it seems that it is ok for them to mention and suggest it but not me.

Ed, the same problem this morning, although not so much as yesterday.

One advert was for NeopetsGuru.com.

Another was coloured bright red but I couldn't read it all because the screen was frozen and I couldn't scroll. It read 'after being voted the best network there's only one way to go'. Perhaps someone else will recognise it.
I am inclined to think that Flash Player is involved with the problem. Along with the use of Internet Explorer.

Perhaps the Ed will comment on my thoughts.

Mine seems to be okay so far,but anything can happen in the next half hour, lol!

I am somewhat surprised that the Ed has Not responded to the Question raised by dotty, at the top of this page. Also he has refrained from commenting on my thoughts concerning the problem.

I feel sure that none of us contributors to this thread have activated ED-bloker.:-)

Half term?
Me too, thought it was just my pc.
My computer clock went back to 2006 this morning, then nearly every page I tried, such as "paypal" returned a message that the certificate was out of date, this was " firefox" that was generating the message. i have reset the clock and date, clicked on " add this to exceptions" when it did it for the halifax building soc. and others, and now seems to be o.k. but why this happened i don't know, there was no messages of updates etc.

Our sky box always reverts to january 2006 when we have a power cut and we have to reset it. We have regular power cuts here with the onset of autumn.
I cannot accept that the problem has anything to do with Time Clock settings. Deliberately, I have reset my computer clock to the 1st December 2006 and am posting herewith, without anything untoward occurring.

Snap. All the time. When I get fed up of it freezing or trying to refresh I shut it down and go somewhere else for a while.
And yet again the likelihood that it being IE is glossed over with stuff about adverts and clocks. The fact is there is a fault with the site which means it doesn't function correctly with IE9.
I can see why Ed doesn't want to encourage us to use Adblocker - AB depends on the ads to keep this as a free site.

My problem at the moment is difficulty with typing - only on AB, not on any other site - it takes me ages to type and go back and correct missed letters, this has been happening for a couple of weeks. We're on IE9.
I think prudie's right.
Prudie....I agree. However, I am a little bothered about pp having experienced a similar problem with Firefox. (My favourite Browser)

percypineapple..Is your Browser 'up-to-date'.? It should be FF 16.0.2
