Small Upgrade On The Way
207 Answers
We're just adding some links to the AB social profiles (for those interested) and adding a "related question" feature.
The latter is a bit "dumb" at the moment, and runs a direct title search to produce results. We will tweak this in the future to produce more nuanced results.
Let me know if anything is on fire over the next couple of hours.
All the best,
Ed

I'm sure most ABers would prefer a new feature of adding the latest reply to appear on page one of the thread instead of having to scroll to latest page all the time or having more posts showing on latest posts at any one time, at busy times they disappear without hardly anyone seeing them.
You are bound to get negative comments about site changes, you always do.
As you point out yourself, the related posts seem incredibly dumb at the moment. They might be useful when they smarten up. Have you set a time limit for that to happen? I would hate for them to be unused clutter six months from now.

I don't mind change and I don't mind the extra bit at the bottom for related threads, but it is likley to encourage old threads to be restarted again by accident.
What I really liked from many mooms ago, was when you typed a new title in ready for a new post, the related threads came up at that stage. Saved lots of repetition and saved me forgetting to search first for similar answers.

In the meantime, is there any chance of the related threads having a different background colour Ed?
I use "end" quite a lot and it takes me down to the bottom of the related posts now rather than the bottom of the thread. It would be an enormous help if there was a change of colour to scroll back up to and to locate the last post easier.

Newbie: Hai there, can you tell me where to get this dead obvious thing?
Snotty ABer: Well the LEAST you could have done is Google it!
Other snotty ABer: A simple search of the site would have told you that straight away.
Yet another SnABer: Stop making other people do your work for you lazybum.
Ed: I've made it easier for lazy questioners to find stuffz.
Snotty ABers: This is my site and how dare you tell newbies things that might cause me to not have to shout at them.
