Obviously if you use your own name, name your OH or Kids someone somewhere may catch on who you are (if they can be bothered) but a random username? If someone of my family read on FB a post by JaneDoe they would not know it was me as that's not my real name. To read my post on FB I would have had to subscribe to the AB page or signed into AB using my FB account wouldn't I?
It's surprising what is out on the Internet about all of us. Just Google vivandorron and you will be directed to many of my threads in AB. Personally, I couldn't care less because no one knows my real name; although people living in my village may attempt putting 2 & 2 together and assume that it could be me and my wife Vivien. So what, as long as AB doesn't disclose my E/mail address and surname. On the latter point it might be worth obtaining confirmation from our Ab Editor that our real personal information is not disclosed to other sites such as Facebook and Twitter; both sites of which I avoid.

"Thats really suprised me knowing it all connects to f/book.
Mustnt put too much detail on here! Saved by the gong!
i did notice a post on f/book y/day mentioning AB, wondered what it was doing on being on there. Thanks for all the info folks x"
It's not an automatic link, we only use FB API for validation of account. We have a human being who picks out threads they like to post on the FB wall. So don't worry, we're not like skynet.... yet.
