Ab Seems Less Than Adequate For Answering Spreadsheet Qus
14 Answers
I have been trying to answer a question in Technology/computers about a formula required in a spreadsheet.
The formula I wish to enter includes a 'less-than' symbol.
AB doesn't like it. Presumably because it thinks it is an opening HTML tag. The symbol and everything following it are expunged.
OK, I've come across that before and used the common alternative of <
except that AB refuses to decode it into the symbol.
How then does one get to use such a symbol?
PS
I tried the site's 'search' facility but it showed no similar questions.

it would seem that a space is needed between the < and the next character
