I answered your request but I have not yet received an answer from you.

You typed,

"If you're using firefox, go to firefox > add-ons and see if there is anything you don't remember installing."

List them here if you need to, and we can try and spot what's "off"

And I answered,

Good Morning, I am still experiencing the problem although it doesn't seem so widespread.

There is another ADD-ON that I can't remember installing and that is Iminent Mini Bar 6.8.2.1.

That sounds like it might be the culprit, see if it will let you disable and remove it from firefox and let us know how it goes.

You may need to remove it using the "uninstall a program" interface.

yontoo is also a bit dodgy - has it gone?

http://www.macworld.com/article/2031472/yontoo-trojan-horse-injects-ads-as-you-surf-with-popular-mac-browsers.html (this is about Apple products, but it indicates that there is a problem, and Yontoo is it).

Yep, you may need to uninstall that from the "unistall program" interface, rather than from FF.

Good Morning AB Editor

I have installed both Iminent Mini Bar and Yontoo in my uninstall programme but with no success the pop-up are still appearing.

On one page alone I am getting three red underlined words, one is Shopping.Net, one Win the new I phone 5, and the other Coupon Drop Down.

Thank you for your help so far, can you now help me out any further please?

Thank you for that Anto, but I think I will just have to live with the problem, rather than download something else that may cause additional problems, I cant understand why AB Editor hasn't got back to me again, since he said,

"I've subscribed to this question so as not to forget"?
aog - i had this problem a while ago and there was something in my programs section that i removed and it went.
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Question1168209.html

there are lists of bad ones of these - try one here
http://botcrawl.com/how-to-remove-text-enhance/

then go to control panel > programs, and look through the list and uninstall anything on that list
aog...It's my thought that the Ed who is dealing with your problem is off duty for the weekend, but having 'subscribed' will pick-up the thread come Monday.

In the meanwhile, you could go along with the advice from joko and see what happens.
