Certain Words Coloured And Underlined In Red.
6 Answers
Only on AnswerBank, I continue to get certain words coloured in red and underlined, when I pas my mouse pointer over these lines certain advertisements pop-up Win a new I phone 5, shopping.net, coupon drop down or Tesco etc.
My browser is FireFox 20.0.1, and operating system Windows XP,
I have looked through my add-ones and deleted all those I thought unnecessary, I have also deleted Yontoo 1.20.02 and another called price peep, via my add & remove facility in internet options.
I have also carried out a Search & Destroy scan and an Anti Malware full scan, all to no avail, please can anyone help me?

The way I sorted this out was systematically switching each add-on off, to find which was causing the problem, usually the last one that had piggy-backed itself with another program.
As an aside, I have Adblock plus which works fine until I restart computer even though in add-ons it says active. the ads keep appearing as it seems to switch off but with no evidence of it being inactive except the ads... I'm using firefox and its updated, any ideas anyone.
