It's only an issue at weekends, Sqad.
Ed decided to create a separate section in response to requests but most people including the Ed seem relaxed about people posting in either section.
During the week the regulars tend to post in Crosswords but at weekends many people post in Q&P, either because they don't see Crosswords on the list (which isn't quite in alphabetical order), or because they have AB Q&P as a favourite, or simply because they see Crosswords is busy and feel their thread is more likely to be seen in Q&P.

Don't worry sqad- you aren't the first to raise it. I mentioned it a few times in what I thought was a constructive way and got some sarcastic comments from AB Q&P/Crossword stalwarts. I was seen as pedant and I realised I probably do have some OCD-like traits.
